The definition of microblading is a 2 appointment procedure of semi-permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments. I use a very delicate and thin implement to make paper-thin hairstroke lines in the skin and imbed the custom color pigment into the grooves. This shallow tattoo heals softly and maintains its appearance for 6-12 months needing a touchup at 6 weeks, and then again annually.

Powder Ombre Style eyebrows are a form of permanent makeup which results in a soft, powdery, filled-in look. It is more similar to a finished makeup look than microblading. I use a special tattoo machine and disposable needles to create the ombre or faded look for these eyebrows. It is actually the procedure that I chose for my own preference as I have oily skin that is quite fair and very fair natural eyebrow hairs. This procedure requires fewer touchups over the years as you can go 1.5-2 years between sessions after the initial 6 week required touchup.
